Competition Calendar
Below is a list of upcoming meets Phoenix Aquatics swimmers are expected to attend. Official meet information and wider competition calendars can be found via Swimming NZ and Fastlane.
Please check with your coach for guidance on which events to enter. This helps make sure your swimmer’s programme is balanced and aligned with their goals.
This page will be updated regularly throughout the season. You will also receive regular updates from PA concerning upcoming meets including notification of the deadline for entering. If you are not receiving these messages please contact Ruby Matthews.
Swim meets rely on club volunteers, including timekeepers and qualified officials. Each club is asked to provide volunteers at the meets they attend. If your swimmer is competing, we ask families to let us know if they are available to help for at least one session. This support is incredibly important — meets cannot run without enough volunteers, and official times may not be ratified.

Phoenix on the World Stage
While this is not a meet that swimmers can enter, it is a fantastic opportunity to watch international swimming at the highest level and support our Phoenix representatives on the world stage.
We’re incredibly proud to have Hazel (Vanessa) Ouwehand representing New Zealand at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, alongside Phoenix Head Coach David Lyles. Their presence in Glasgow is a testament to the hard work, dedication and excellence that define the Phoenix Aquatics programme.
We wish Vanessa and David every success as they represent New Zealand and Phoenix Aquatics on the international stage.
